I've just seen in the Sun Paper (UK) a huge advertisement for Murad for only £25. This includes cleanser, toner and a spot fighting gel. There were some great before and after pics and they claim to improve acne within 4 weeks.
Has anyone tried it, any positive results?? I'm tempted to buy it but I've had enough of wasting money on pointless products that don't work, so thought I would ask you guys first!!
I've used the murad acne system...its OK. I mean...I really liked their spot gel but the cleanser was really drying. The system was better than some products I've tried - but was definitely not the "answer" to my acne problem.

I'm still not sure whether I am going to buy it....I suppose I am just looking for a miracle over night treatment, and unfortunatally this does not exist!!
I felt it helped, but not as much as Obagi did for me. I think the main problem is that it was helping with my cell turnover rate, but did nothing as far as actually exfoliating the skin that was brought to the surface.
If your acne is mild/moderate, I would give it a try. Remember that you need to try a new regimen for at least six weeks before you can decide if it's really helping you or not.

Murad is the only thing that tamed my acne. I use olay of olay cleanser for sensitive skin, followed by steps 2 and 3 of the Murad acne formula. When I use it every day, my skin is clear. If I skip a day or 2 and use other products, I break out. Good luck!
I love love love this kit, but it's usually too pricey to use all of the time. And be very careful with the spot treatment gel. It'll burn a hole in your face if you use too much.
The skin perfecting lotion is the best face cream ever. I saw results in a few days. I like to mix it with some Clinique products to bring the price down. (Which is sad... b/c Clinique isn't cheap either!)
Good Luck!!

Lush products have helped me I posted what i use in another thread. Murad worked for a while but then it didn't do anything. I have found if you have been using chemical based treatments with out success its time to go natural.

It is strong stuff. Too strong for me and made my skin dry :-(
I agree with Greendaisy, I have gone the more natural route (Liz Earle and sometimes Neal's Yard) and my skin has never looked so good.
I think I have some Murad cleanser and spot gel tube left in my cupboard. If you want to try it Rachel, PM me and I will send it to you so you can try it for free! No point you wasting money too if it doesn't suit...
