May Allah grant me the strength to cope with these trying times.
I am going thru a m/c today.
I had a 'missed M/C' so I was given misoprostol y'day to 'expel' the gestational sac & avoid a D&C.
I had the most horrifying night last night...a few hours after inserting the tabs, I had the MOST SEVERE cramping....abdomen,back,legs...........then a spate of vomitings (12) with a fever of 101.2......then gush of bleeding,...then the 'sac' came ......
Emotionally & physically I feel drained & exhausted.......still cramping & bleeding...have to go back to the RE in am to have a U/S to make sure 'everything' came out & we wont need a D&C!
sister IMG..my heart aches for you..wAllahi..
I know you may not want to hear this..but elhamdulillah you did conceive! now you know that it is possible..and with the Will of Allah..you will coinceive again and carry full term..N'chAllah
I am thinking of you and saying duaa..

IMG - I am so sorry for your loss Insha'Allah you won't need a d/c. As Rania mentioned, alhamdulillah that you know you can conceive, and insha'Allah when the time is right, as only Allah Knows, He will replace your grief with joy...
Wasalaamu Alaikum

IMG- I'm sorry for your loss. I hope that you are in good health. Inshalla.
Everyone- Is anyone on the South Beach Diet? I'm on it (in Phase one) and with Ramadan, I'm dying. DH is telling me to stop the diet until Ramadan is over, but I feel so guilty. I also don't want to not fast but I'm clueless. Anyone go through this?
Sarah's mom, I think you are making a mistake by doing this diet (especially phase one) during Ramadan. You are going to put your body into starvation-mode. Whatever you lose will come right back as soon as Ramadan is over and you are eating more regularly.
All the protein you are eating is important, but you need the carbs for energy throughout the day.
Anyway, this is just my advice - I agree with your husband that you should wait until Ramadan is over to start the diet. You can still manage to eat sensibly during Ramadan. You can opt for whole grains, instead of white, cook with burghul instead of rice, have mashed vegetables instead of potatoes, etc.

Sister Salma-I dont know how the pain compares with actual childbirth, but since I had to take the cytotec,it was HORRIBLE,with a LOT of side effects like constant vomitings,SEVERE cramps............I thought I would die that night......Allah SWT helped go thru that somehow.
