chips - I'm worried about you with the chaos going on around you. It's easier said then done to try and focus on your health and the baby right now, but please PLEASE try. Your husband isn't being reasonable right now, and you've stated your case/concerns. What else could you do at this point? Whatever is going to happen with your FIL/SIL is out of your control. Your husband is only human, and he's going to get to the point where he has had his fill with his family, trust me.
December- welcome! What's it like in Denmark?
Sarah'smom - I forgot to mention about Eid. I'm pretty sure that we won't be attending the morning prayer as we are trying to avoid crowds with the flu season. It's easier to just not go, then have to try and get out of all those hugs/kisses/handshakes, you know? My husband may decide to go on his own, but I secretly hope he doesn't! I am, however thinking about having an 'open-house' type brunch at my home for friends and family. I've never done an open house before, and it sounds like fun! I love cooking, baking, and entertaining, I've already got a bunch of recipe ideas floating around in my head. But I'd love some suggestions!!

I think open house is great. We decorate, make candy bags, a big dinner. If I Don't travel i'll do the same. My close friends are all going to malaysia. Mashallah. I've been 5 times so I passed. Inshallah I want to go fast to visit Dh brother and family. We'll his brother wife and kids. I Don't sit with bil. :-D
Anyone having open fatoor for the 9th of Haj? We usually go to madinah but like all I fear all the sickness going around and the baby. Allahu allum we could get sick sitting in the house.

hope that everybody is good. I just got some bad news about my Grandma.She isn't doing good at all. She has liver cancer and has 6 months. So I have been really busy and I'll be back on later when I can have more time to write. thanks

Ive been well in general just feel very tired all the time, which ive been told is normal...my iron levels are really low so have been prescribed some ferrous sulphate which is making me very constipated. sooo im a little annoyed with that...im starting to outgrow most of my clothes now but im still not big enough for marternity wear so at the moment im very restricted on what i wear. all my baby scans soo far have gone really well, and i cnt wait for next one now which is in december. inshallah everyfing will be fine...oh and my due date is officially the 3rd of may which just happens to be on my birthday...how great is that...

Lina- Your so lucky to live in Fl. I love that place. I went twice cause of work. I do plan on going back soon.Within a couple years.I love that idea about giving your Dh a new phone. I'm sure he will love it. How did you get pg with Sara?
Rusalka- I'm 28 and Dh is 42. I'm glad that were kinda of the same age.Sometimes I feel werid cause of our age difference.I'm being monitored on the study. I go this coming up Monday to see if I O'd and get an ultrosound.I'm hoping that they will say I did.I can't BBT cause I get up in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom.How much does it cost where you live to do the IVF? If this study doesn't work I might have to look into it.
Diamond- Sorry about you loss too. I can't imagine what you went through. Did they say why you lost the baby? I didn't make it far in my pg so they couldn't tell me why.Are you going to try again?

Chips6- Can't wait to hear what your having. I feel as if my Dh keeps things from me too. I have caught him a few little lies. I don't speck Arabic but can understand it more. I wish I did know what he was saying.I'd pay a million dollars. Don't worry about too much cause you don't want to be stressed out. I think buying a car for is way to much. Let someone else help her. Good Luck with that and were here if you need to vent anytime.Oh how much did you pay for your IVF? Do you have any insurance? I don''t so everything is out of pocket.

@ngel - I am sure the iron will help you feel better insha'Allah, but be sure to increase your fibre and water intake, or even take a stool softener because an increase in iron can give you constipation.
fallenangel - thanks for your condolences. My loss was in 2001, I've had two children since then, alhamdulillah. The reason for my loss was an Incompetent Cervix - it basically opens too early in pregnancy. As a result, I had to be on bedrest for my other pregnancies. I also had a cervical cerclage placed during my last pregnancy, and that helped enough so that I could do my bedrest at home instead of the hospital as I did for my oldest.

Diamond- Salam sister. I totally understand how you feel about the flu season. An open house is a great idea and the fact that Eid falls right after Thanksgiving means tons of ideas for open house food. Everything from pies and baked goods are always acceptable around this time. Tons of stuff can be made with puff pastry. It looks professional and its really easy to work with. You can go to the Pepperidge Farm website (they make the Puff Pastry in the stores) and they have tons of easy recipes.
Fallen- I'm so sorry to hear about you Grandma. May Allah grant her and your family peace during this time. You're more than welcome to come move here to FL. I'm from Iowa and can't get used to the heat here. Its supposed to be snowing around this time...it's still weird! I had Sarah with no help...lol...after all the infertility my DH and I were hit with (both of us have issues) we're both wondering why and how I got pregnant with Sarah with no medication at all...I really wish it would happen again!
@ngel- Glad you are doing well. You can always get the smaller sizes in maternity clothing. I'm glad everything is boring (better than any drama!). Keep up with your iron (either with pills the doctor gives you or by eating dark green veggies) because if you are low on iron the baby will take it all anyways!

AFM, Some good news...Sarah has stopped crying during therapy (except when they are stretching Sarah's muscles before work). I've also been invited to join Sigma Beta Delta chapter of my university. Its a graduate honor society for my major and I'm up for a fellowship next year too...
