Jazaki Allah khair dear sister Aisha for the warm welcome, and I ask Allah to give you a healthy baby and to grow up being a pious muslim.
Sarahsmom, I live in bradford too , its not a bad city ..
Sister Danna, Please be patient arguments will not last long, and it is bound to happen in every relationship.. just consider it a trial from Allah, and to gain the thawab, you make the move and just like how the prophet (sala Allah alayhi wasalam) says, put your hand in your husband's hand and say, I will not sleep until you become satisfied of me (L).. I Ask Allah to bring the joy and love back to your family. |

My Mood: Points: 5,351.40 Bank: 8.46 Total Points: 5,359.87 | danna - hubby and I are just coming out of that phase. The thing that turned it around was we had one big blowout that turned into a very nice convo about how eachother was feeeling, and where our priorities were. Turns out our focuses were completeky seperate and OPPOSITE, not even similar. It actually came to a point for me where instead of wanting him home with me, I didnt care whether he was around me or not - we were THAT disconnected that I could have cared less about his where-abouts. THAT really woke him (and myself) up.
we just tried doing small things again that although we normally did them, we had somehow lost. Things like holding hands, sitting together and leaning on eachother, when we are out (even in seperated gatherings) make time (even if its 5 minutes) to meet outside and talk, etc.
We were able to focus our goals and become partners again, versus 'room mates', kwim?
May Allah ease and heal your hearts. Ameen!

My Mood: Points: 4,663.23 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 4,663.23 | Salam sisters, Alhamdulilah things are getting better, on the home front... I went to visit my Mother for a few days, and the seperation did us some good, I think. He realised how EMPTY and LONELY his life is without us... Anyway, Yusef is doing fine, steadily growing and getting closer to the 3 month mark everyday (mashallah). I'm just glad to be home, It's hard to visit someones home with a baby, because I had to take all my gear for myself and the baby with me (she lives 1-2 hours from my home). I'm just glad to be home in my surroundings and inshallah tomorrow I can start working on things in the home again. It needs some work! I have to continue preping the place for the move too! I pray ALLAH (shwt) makes it easy on us... Anything new to report?

There's nothing really NEW with me--- it's been raining here all week, and should continue (be ithn allah). I can honestly say I'm missing the sun. California is so very different than here... Got a haircut the other day, thought it'd be cute, but now I think it's still too long. I guess I'll investigate more haircuts and keep it in my purse, so when I need another haircut, I'll use that one... I want to have manageable hair and i hate long hair, so I will keep it short but femanine, inshallah. Yusef is slowly approaching 3 months, mashallah! I surely hope that he grows into a wonderful man. A man that I can rely on... I often hold him and imagine how he'll be as an adult. Subhan allah, he's so little and yet I'm imagining him by fast forwarding him to his 20s. hAHa!

Does anyone know how to use "progesterome cream" and its uses for pcos?
What about Maca? I heard it could help with hormones; anyone know or use these?

Please pray that when the baby is full term, she gives birth to the baby and she's born in good health, ameen. Anyone have any suggestions for interesting Arabic/Muslim female names? She had a name all picked out, but a relative took the name, and she doesn't want to name her child the same name. So, any suggestions ladies??? Something not commonly used, but has wonderful meaning and sounds great too?

Points: 710.58 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 710.58 | There are many sites that have muslim girl ( and boy ) names. It's too bad that someone else 'took' the name. I kept my daughter's name a secret until she was born because I didn't want that to happen as well (only DH and I knew the name). I would say that the name also depends on where she lives. Since DD was growing up in the US but would always visit my husband's family in Lebanon, I wanted a good muslim name that would work everywhere (DD's name is Sarah). But some people don't worry about that. Personally, I've always liked the name Kareema
Good luck |

I agree with Sarahs mom..it depends where baby will live...another reason why I chose Jennah..of course for the religious aspect but as well as the American pronounciation..so far nobody has ever mispronounced my daughter's name..even though people tend to leave off the H!
I have always gotten MANY compliments my name (Rania)..
and people seem to love my baby's middle name (Nour) Noura is also nice..
I have always liked Imane, Ilham, and Ahlam ..(DH didn't)
he liked Lamia, Hind, Houda and Duaa..just some ideas...
