Salam ladies, Mom left this morning and Dh went with me to the Dr's office... I got back from the Dr's office a few hours ago, but we went out for LUNCH and then for a walk around the lake, afterwards. Doc says I'm 3 cm dialated & 50% effaced (mashallah)! She stripped my MEMBRANES for the 2nd time!!! OUCH!!! OUCH!!! OUCH!!! And did I mention OUCH??? She scheduled me for an induction on 3/13/2008 (Thursday). If I go into labor on my own before then, It's perfectly fine, but if not- she wants me induced on that day. Inshallah khair! PRAY FOR ME!

Ah- it is our DUTY as Muslims to remind other Muslims about the miracles of ALLAH (shwt) and that everything is possible, with ALLAH's will... I pray all of the pious MUSLIMS have their prayers and dreams accomplished, ameen. The STRONG Muslim is the best Muslim, because they can help others in their time of need, without the intention of getting any recognition from others for it. They will inshallah ta'ala get their rewards from ALLAH (shwt), which is like NO OTHER reward that can be gained in this lifetime... May ALLAH (shwt) make us ALL strong, so we are able to spread dahwa and sada'a to others in need, ameen. Strong RELIGIOUSLY, MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, MORALLY, EMOTIONALLY, and FINANCIALLY! AMEEN!!  Yes, you are right about the baby (mashallah tabaruk allah)- Inshallah very soon I'll either go into labor or I'll have to be induced this Thursday. I'm hoping my body goes into labor on its own before having to be induced, but I have put my faith in ALLAH (shwt) and I know that things will happen as they are pre-written. Of coarse the SHAITAN (devil) likes to put fear in the Muslims heart, and he is working on me... Trying to make me fear the outcome of the pregnancy or labor. Allahy afeena! May Allah (shwt) protect us from the SHAITAN and the EVIL JINNS and keep us in his GRACE and MERCY, ameen. I pray YUSEF comes safely and that he turns into a good Muslim who is willing to help out his fellow Muslim and spread dahwa, without the intention of getting anything in return... To be selfless, yet successful! AMEEN YA RUB!

Sisters please make dua for me, I am preggo mashallah, (5wks 1dy)but I don't know how long I will be, I am basically just waiting to m/c. But as we know Allah is the controller of all affairs. My numbers last monday was 229 and last wednesday went down to 162. But I still didn't m/c yet. no bleeding or cramping or any thing. I still feel preggo. still have sore boobs. So I am holding on to hope that Allah has different plans for me and this baby other that what the numbers are saying. Please keep us in your duas insha'Allah.

Danna i gave birth naturally on the day i was going to be induced!!! i had an appointment at 9 and my labor began at 8,..i made a lot of duaa, i'll pray for you sister.

Miria, Masha'Allah I didn't know you spoke French. Reading your post I was shocked how much I do and don't remember of it! It's been too long since I used it
I did want to add to a sister's post about living in France and western countries. I'm not into politics, but I think there's a lot of good that muslims have contributed to in Europe, Canada & the US as well as good that they have gotten out of living there (i.e. knowledge and understanding, tolerance, diminishing prejudices, diminishing ethnocentricism). Also, we can't forget the wonderful reverts who may have been exposed to Islam from some wonderful people they met and saw the beauty of it.

Salamu alaikum sisters, Jazakum allah khair sisters for your duhaa'. I'm hoping and praying that things go smoothly and that I go into labor on my own, without the (artificial) inductior, scheduled this THURSDAY (inshallah). Mamawantmore- Sister please keep positive about this pregnancy. Tafa'alo bil khair tajidoo (think positive and good things will happen-inshallah ta'ala). We are all praying for only GOOD things to happen and that nothing bad touches our lives, ameen. PRAYING FOR EVERYONE to only see good things in this life, to learn all lessons that ALLAH (shwt) means for us to learn, and to make it to FARDAWS AL AHLA (the highest heavens), after judgement day, ameen!!!

Salam Ladies, I was hoping you would keep DUHAA for me, not only for the L & D, but also for ALLAH (shwt) to help us through (some recent) possible life decisions. We have a few choices of where to live- either stay here in WA, return to CA, or go directly to SAUDI. Each choice has its PROs and CONs, but we are at a bit of a crossroads... Its very complicated, so I don't want to really get into it, but please pray for us to figure out whats best for our family, and inshallah the decisions will come easier. Jazakum allah khair ladies...

Yes, inshallah with every crossroads/life decision, our family makes isteekhara, but still there is the worry that we didn't think of something or we might have a better outcome somewhere else.
Subhan allah, the human brain is so sceptical... But ofcoarse when I recognise that I'm doing it, I put my faith in ALLAH (shwt) and try to just feel at peace.
Anyway, none of these decisions need to be made now- we have about 5-6 months to decide... Inshallah ala khair!

Salam sisters, MAMAWANTMORE- I'm sorry for your loss, allahy subrik, ameen. May you be blessed with many healthy babies, to surround you and make you happy, ameen. I am scheduled for an induction on 3/13/2008, Inshallah I will go into labor before that date---- I'm still praying for that. If not, I'll just go with the schedule. I'm doing everything I can to get him out, and it's not working! Allahy subirna! Ameen!
