Sarah, its the powder kind, its the powdered kind, so its more easy to digest.
I took it for over a week almost 2 weeks and i got AF, not a very good one, but it jump started my system. but i took 1 spoon day and night instead of 1/2 spoon.
n e wayz, gotta go

Danna, Insha'Allah you are in your recovery and the labor was beautiful.
Sara_Kh, It's probably the one Salma is referring to; I didn't know there were 2 kinds I might up my dose to 1 teaspoon also since I haven't gotten AF since the first week I used it. I am also not using it consistently as I should be doing.
Insha'Allah everyone else is doing well.

Teacher Dana ~ I hope l&d went well, keep us updated.
Basilandlight ~ Yes sister, it really helps especially for people with PCOS, I charted last cycle mashallah which we did conceived but lost the baby, but it is easier because at least you can compare your charts to have an average insight of when you ovulate. Because for me I never know when I am ovulating, but with the chart it points it out to me.
How is every one else.

And yes I dis miscarry, shukron for your concern.

My Mood: Points: 2,095.60 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,095.60 | Salam SIsters,
Been very busy and haven't had the internet signal or the energy to post. Sometimes the signal worked and most of the time it didn't. Seems there was a "GLITCH" in the internet connection at SWEDISH. OK here goes---- - 10 am - got a call to come in to the hospital
- 11:30 am - got to Hospital/got checked in, undressed, put in a gown...
- 12:20 pm- Got hooked up to pitosin to start contractions
- 1 pm - started to feel contractions
- 5 pm - check by Dr., bag of water broken at 5 cm
- went through hours and hours of labor, all naturally
- At 6 cm, requested to enter the HOT TUB (felt soooo good)
- About 1 hour later (lost track of time) got taken out to be checked (hurt like hell) was now at 7 cm
- was told I was going too slow, so I needed to stay OUT of the tub and get put on a uteran monitor to see how strong my contractions were
- was left there for hours to see what would happen
- came back hours later, only went to 8 cm/80% effaced (she hinted that if it didn't change we might have to do an epidural to relax the pelvis), checked a little while later, she said there was absolutely NO CHANGE and that I needed to get put on an epidural
- Nearly pooped my pants from fear, when getting the epidrural, it scared the crap out of me! Didn't hurt too badly though, but the fear was immense!
- felt the pain dissipate--- Ah what relief!
- labored for a little while longer- started to feel pelvic pressure
- Dr was called, and checked me again
- STILL NO CHANGE!!!!!!
- Dr. said that there was just no way for this to happen, he was just stuck! She said cesarean was the way to go (prayed 1000 times for a good outcome)
- Got Anesthesiologist to come check my epi and make sure it was done proper- it wasn't. He had hit a vain and it was no longer working
- Had to get my epidural taken out and then had to get spinal numbing shots put in (was terrified), while in the OR (went into effect immedietly)
- DH held my hand and told me he loved me, through the tears he "ATTEMPTED" to fight back (but it didn't work)
- at around 6 am, was completely numb, everything was prepped and I was thoroughly frightened, so was DH (he had the look of a frightened deer in the headlights, going!)
- At 6:07 am heard the squeeling of my newborn and couldn't stop the tears from flowing (missed my Dad and wished he was there to see his grandchild be born)
- DH told me later that YUSEF was blue when he came out, and that his head was swollen on one side, apparently he was still FACE UP during delivery and his head was really getting reamed into my pelvis! Could have been really bad, but I hope there will be no bad long term effects! (**PRAYING**)
- baby was suctioned for a little while, due to visible maconium, and possibilities of complications (haven't had any so far, lets hope it stays that way)
- uterus was sewn shut, and they used many staples to shut my abdomen
- was taken back to L & D room, where I proceeded to feel incredibly nauceous and shook like a leaf
- threw up (my 3rd time- #1- when pitosin was started, #2- when I was in active labor at 8 cm #3- after surgery)
- felt all out of sorts: groggy, nauceous, exhausted, shaky, etc.
Overall after 17 hours of natural labor (other than the pitosin), being in the tub only 1 HOUR (SHUCKS- that wasn't the plan!), getting an epidural (whether I wanted it or not), having a cesearian delivery (that scared us half to death), it was all worth it because: YUSEF was born at 6:07 am, Friday morning; weighing 8 pounds 13 ounces, 21 3/4 inches long, and all is well!!! PRAISE GOD!! Been absolutely in AWE of my great blessings and cannot take my eyes off of him (PRAISE GOD) ** Don't have any pics- still haven't gotten around to getting that camera!!! Haven't been discharged yet, may be discharged tomorrow if all goes well (GOD willing), circumcision was already done today and I hope it takes well- and doesn't have to be redone (sometimes they have to be)... I've got pain, but I am attempting to rise above it with PAIN MEDS and walking around. Even took a shower today to freshen up! Overall, I'm still in shock about all the events that happened, don't know when It'll hit me that I'm a NEW MOMMY! (Praise GOD for any and all things!) I'll KIT periodically, need time to heal and recover! To the ones still waiting/TTC??? It'll happen inshalah- don't worry! LOVE YA ALL, and thought of you often during the L & D process! HUGS and KISSES to everyone! (sorry I'm still doped up)...
