Danna, Mabroook! I'm very happy for you.
May Yousef be pious and in good health.
Miria, how are things going with you? I'm not taking clomid this month. I am too much stressed and emotional. InchAllah i'll start it next cycle. I started taking my body basal temperature just to know if I ovulate or not. I hope that i'll find a way to reduce my stress!
I hope all the sisters are ok.
Wa salam

i'm on CD10, we're cycle buddies right!

Last night I went into shower and saw how thin my hair is getting. Its to the point where I can see my scalp and its so distressing. I cried myself to sleep . I woke up this morning and couldnt stop noticing the same thing.
I have joined gym to lose weight and want to try natural methods now but its so hard to keep the motivition up when u encounter ur own physical appearance in this state everyday so many times
I dont even feel like going to a get together in a couple of days..Allah make us all feel better and give us sabr ameen.. |

Sara_kh, I have been there myself with the hair issues. Even the facial hair is easier to deal w/b/c Indo-Pak women tend to be on the hairier side anyways, but even in Islam we know how strongly a woman's beauty lies in the hair on her head. I have heard that if you can get your hormones regulated through a healthy diet and exercise that the hair loss stops. I pray you find a cure

I have facial hair as well but i somehow manage it a little bit. But its just so weird that no matter wht i try nothing works for my head hair
I have been on BCP with anti androgen for 6 months, hair loss stopped for a while but started again during 4th month.
Now I want to try naturally so i think i should keep my head high and excersise and leave rest to Allah SWT.
Thank you for the support sister *hugs*.. r u from india or pakistan ? Sister Tasneem MashaAllah..mabrook on ur pregnancy and I'll pray for u and the baby..May Allah grant u easy labour and may and the baby be in the best of health ameen *HugS* |

My Mood: Points: 1,109.49 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,109.49 | Sara_Kh, both of my parents were born in Pakistan. I'm the first person I know of who has this PCOS in my family, but I know a lot of Indo-Pak women who have this. I think it's great you are trying the natural route -- I went through the bcp and progesterone pills as well as spirolactone (sp?) and metformin at the suggestion of different doctors. I feel like there must be a cure. I also blame myself for not tackling the weight loss at a younger age. But Allah is the best of guiders and best of planners, and will not give me a child until the time is best Insha'Allah.

I can avoid food but the fat is mostly at the abdominal and hip area which is the most difficult to lose . I hope i see results some time soon.

My Mood: Points: 2,120.60 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,120.60 | Asalamu alaikum ya akhawati fil Islam (peace be upon you, sisters in Islam), Jazakum allah khair (may ALLAH give you much blessings and khair) for worrying about me/us, praying for me/us, and congratulating us about the birth of our son. Mashallah tabaruk allah (praise GOD) for all things! It was a long journey, that took us many days, we were in the hospital 5 days! I couldn't wait to just get home! When we got home, it is SOOOO small- that there's just no room. May Allah (shwt-the most gracious most merciful) make it easy for us to plan and move to a better place, in the future- AMEEN!! Sisters- - I almost forgot to mention- - during the extensive labor, I prayed for all of you! May you all get your prayers answered, ameen! Whatever your wishes are! The last few days have been very hard, due to many complications from the surgery. The medications they put me on made me constantly nauceous, vomiting, etc. and it wasn't fun being all these things, trying to breast feed, dealing with the illness, etc. But, alhamdulilah for all things... It wasn't easy, but I wouldn't give it up for anything in the world. I still stare at YUSEF in his sreer (crib) and can't believe that this child is MINE and that I'll have him with my in this life and the next life, inshallah ta'ala (GOD willing). May we all get to JANNAH one day, to the highest heavens in FARDAWS AL AHLA, AMEEN!!! That's what I pray for, hope for, dream for, live for... Life after baby is very different- I find it is nice to occasionally steal a minute with Abdulrahman (my DH) and let him know I appreciate all his help. He's been wonderful, mashallah (praise ALLAH). He gets frustrated, not knowing what to do, all the time- but he's trying. That's the most important thing. I called my Mother and asked her to come down to SEATTLE and help us. It has been incredibly difficult due to the issues I mentioned above---^ She's helped: feed, burp, change, cook, clean, etc. for us. She is groggy and zombiesh, like we all are--- but we're coping, alhamdulilah (thank GOD). Anyway, I need to get going- YUSEF should be waking soon, inshallah for another feeding! For those of you TTC, I suggest researching everything about BREAST FEEDING ahead of time. It's been a bit of a battle, but we'll see how it goes... I'm still learning. With the help of ALLAH (shwt) all things are possible... KEEP UP THE HOPE SISTERS, NO MATTER WHAT! Don't listen to any FOOL who tells you something isn't possible. Because no one is in charge of the future except for ALLAH (shwt) and as I've mentioned before in many posts, only the future can be changed, by constant DUHAA' (prayers) for something better, or different, or whatever you wish...
