Chips and wantababy, sisters good luck with your IVF consultations, inshaAllah you both start together .

As for myself, I am sad and feeling hopeless. Husband's bloodwork came back. His FSH is slightly high and according to our urologist it's a bad sign showing testicular failure. Every second we pass we risk having a child more according to the Dr. because it gets worse with age. I can't understand why he is reluctant to treat the varicocele and see if it helps, because FSH isn't too too high, it's 9.9 and it says on the results paper that 1-8 is the normal range. My husband is 39 and at that age it's very rare to develop a varicocele, therefore he probably has had it for a very long time, from what I read on reputable sources effects of an untreated varicocele worsens with time.

Chips- Salam sister! I'm glad to hear your sister has joined you and your mom will be coming soon. Is she going to be living near you? That's nice that your mom is staying with her, but I bet it'll be hard on your dad and your other sister. Sounds like you'll have a lot of fun, inshallah. Good luck on the IVF consult. Inshallah everything will work out and having your mom and sister there will help when you need to relax.

Wantababy- are you back from your IVF consult yet, sister? Inshallah it has gone well. Please update us when you can.

Rusalka- First, your husband's health is more important. Talk to your doctor (since he's also a friend) and ask WHY your husband isn't being treated. Perhaps he has an answer that will make you feel better. Has the doctor talked about IVF for you guys? I actually ran across this today and wanted to share it with you (not sure if you've seen it or not) http://www.ihr.com/infertility/provi...ce.html#Turkey Its a company that provides financial assistance and discounts for IVF (like what Wantababy is doing) its only for the United States and a hospital in Istanbul. I hope that it helps.

Simone- I'm doing great!! What are you up to these days?

I'm so sorry I haven't had a moment to read everything, I've been super busy with mom and sister's but they are leaving on sunday I'll catch up with everyone.

I also had my first obgyn appt today everything looked good. They used the heart doppler and couldn't get the babys heartbeat. She said its very normal and the ultrasound is next week. I also have another friend who couldn't hear her's the first time too and she's 6 months preggo. They are going to do a sequential screening on in less then two weeks. That's when they'll have the heartbeat check again. Has anyone had the sequential screening??

Also guy's my due date was calculated wrong it's actually Jan 4th and my fertility doctor told me the 6th and that explains why the baby was always two days behind in growth.

Sarahsmom, thank you that clinic is where we had our SA in fact. Not very expensive fancy one, but quite experienced in the field.

salam sisters I'm posting from my iPhone. We got stuck in new jersey yesterday. There was bad weather so we will be on today's flight at 6:45pm. We're in the hotel that the airline gave us. But only Sarah had pajamas. I have to get diapers for her at the airport because I had some but not enough for this delay inshallah this delay will be kear for us. Thanks all for your duaa.

Sarahsmom-your so close to us!! I bet your stuck in Newark. The weather truly was horrid yesterday lighting and rain non stop. Have a safe trip! InshAllah everything is going to be fine : )

We are in Newark still waiting for the shuttle bus to take us to the airport hamdillah the gift shop in the hotel had diapers but for one dollar and fifty cents each. But at least they had them and in Sarahs size. Faith if I would have known you were close we could have met at the airport or something. Then it would have been a great delay!! Anyways inshallah there are no more delays and we can get on the 6:45pm flight
