I finally feel like I'm heading out of a SARS Slump!!
We got some great news from our agency this week. Our dossier is in the review room at the CCAA!! YAHOO!! That's a big step--the general consensus is that dossiers are in review for a few months, then on to the matching room! We are quite excited to think China is reviewing our documents right now! My wild guess is that Lilly is born already since we have requested a DD age 6-12 months!! We are so psyched!!!
It looks like they are expecting the suspension on adoptions in China to be lifted--hopefully as soon as the end of the month!! They also mention that SARS may delay the whole waiting process for all families, which does not surprise us.
So, even though the CCAA (who handles the adoptions in China) is not saying anything at this point, the rumor mill is spinning that they do not want the suspensions to cause delays to waiting parents and will do their best to keep shorten the wait.
This week brought us news that was a bit ambiguous, but promising at the same time!! Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!

We just got back from a weekend trip and I saw your subject line and opened this up right away!
OH LISA!!!! This is encouraging news! I am so happy that some progress is being made. Just think...your precious lil' Lilly could very well be waiting for you this very second! Oh that gives me goose pimples (I called them "goose pickles" when I was little) and I will definitely be keeping you all in prayer!
