Unhappy My beta came back

negative. I knew it would b/c I've been spotting and started spotting red yesterday. I started full on bleeding last night. I'm waiting for my nurse to call me back after she talks to my dr. b/c he wants me to take a month of bcp's and I really don't want to. I've had some pretty serious reactions to every bcp that I've been on. She said that I might be able to take Provera instead. I guess I'm ok. I knew this was coming so it really was no surprise. I still layed on the couch and cried all night curled up in a ball. It was just so emotional.

{{{Traci}}} I am so sorry it didn't work, I hoped the numbers will go up ( it was higher then mine for the first beta). You still have a chance, girl, just give it a little more time

Take care of yourself and let the negative emotions go, it will get better, I promise.

Dilara

Traci - I am so sorry! I've been checking the boards non stop since yesterday afternoon....just waiting to see what your results are. I was so worried about you! I tried PMing you a couple of times but your box was full.

Again, I'm sorry you had to go through this. I'm praying you get your BFP very soon!

Thanks Dilara I was hoping they would have gone up too but I knew yesterday that they weren't going up and they were going down. I knew it was over when I started spotting red.

Thanks MaLee! I've cried so much that I just can't cry anymore.... I really appriciate the hugs

Thanks Keeley! I cleaned my box out, I didn't realize it was full until I just checked email.

Thanks for the prayers cmeredith! Maybe that's what's helping me get through this. I feel bad but I really haven't been as emotional as I thought I would be (even though I've been crying every night.....).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And I have this funky eye thing going on! Yesterday my eye lid was really red, I just thought it was from crying so much. This morning when I woke up it was really puffy and really red. The only other time this has happened is when I've fell asleep w/ my contacts in after wearing them all day. I haven't worn them in about 2 weeks though. I guess I'll go to the dr. if it keeps up.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel. I just had my 2nd m/c two weeks ago. I am always fighting tears back. It is very tough I know. I wish we did not have to go through this. Take care of yourself.
Thanks everyone. I'm feeling alittle bit better.......except that it feels like my insides are falling out of me....
We have a plan of action now!
I just talked to my dr. He said I don't have to take BCP's. He said to come in on 6/16 for another beta and it - to start Provera. He said I'll still take Follistim except instead of starting me out on one amp I'll start out on 2 so I don't have to take it as long. He said he wouldn't do any testing unless I have recurrent m/c's. He said he was very confident that this would work since last cycle was the first real chance that I could get pg and I did. He said it's not like we're going for a year of O'ing and everything and I still didn't get pg or I just got pg now after a year of O'ing every month. That makes me feel better knowing that he thinks it can work. I also asked him if it's supposed to hurt this much and this much blood. (It was nothing and all of a sudden today it's alot....) He said that since I already had a thick lining (about 13.1 @ my last u/s) and since I was pg it would have gotten thicker that it should be like this. He said it should stop soon (like it would be like regular AF and stop after about 7 days).
So I'll go in on 6/16 for another beta and if -, start Provera. Pick up my cycle plan that day. Then I'll call on CD1 and go in on CD2 for an u/s and start the Follistim that day!
This is a better plan to me b/c I don't have to take nasty BCP's!!
Glad to hear you avoided the BCP - I have learned to hate those things! Good Luck and I hope you continue to feel better.
Thanks MaLee! I hate those things too and I refused to go on them in Jan also so my dr. already knew that I hated them!!
Thanks dilara! I hope they do too Of course, now I'm terried that if they do I'll end up w/ a litter b/c I had 9 mature follicles when we triggered last time and I'll be doing the meds different so I don't have to take them as long this time.....but I'm not going to think about that until the time comes!
Thanks Nic! I immediately started bleeding the day I got my -. In fact, I started before I even knew it was - from the dr. I just knew it was going to be bad though b/c I had been spotting. At first mine was kinda heavy, then it was pretty light, then it was super heavy, and now it's lighter again. It's been 2 days so far. My RE thinks that it will last about as long as my regular AF. So yours will probably be right after you stop your prog sup. I wonder why the dr. wanted you to take them for longer. Is he going to retest your beta? Mine did until it was 0. Good Luck!
