Each day I mourn an angel
his wings I cannot touch
Each day I am filled with sadness
I miss you oh so much.

I never knew that I could love something so small
I never knew the pain
the fear of loosing it all

One day I woke up crying
I knew that you were gone
I told myself that it was okay
but I was so wrong

You don't know what I am feeling
you don't know what to say
and if I had you back
I'd cherish you everyday

I don't understand what happened
I wish I didn't have to grieve
the loss of this angel
is too hard to believe.

Katie, just wanted to say sorry for the loss of your baby and the poem expressed the feeling very perfectly.

The poem is beautiful and IMO it would sound very nice set to music. It has a "song" quality to it. Do you know anyone who writes music?
