I've had my first experience total screaming and meltdown tantrum. All over what shoes she was going to wear....

This morning I was dressing her, it came to shoe time and all out war broke out. I wanted her to wear her lovely cute pink boots, she had other ideas and decided that her black patent shiny shoes would look much better. We had a kicking, scream, slapping, tantrum! Can't believe that was enough to trigger it. My daughter's a fashion victim already - before her 2nd birthday!

A spell on the naughty step did the trick and Mummy didn't give in, but wow....what a shock that was! Now I've seen real evidence that red heads have bad tempers.

I did get a sorry and a hug and all was forgiven and we walked to the childminders laughing most of the way. She was waving to every car and shouting 'choo-choo' to every bus that went by - she's a bit confused bless her!

The tantrums are something, aren't they? It's hard, sometimes, not to laugh. They are so emphatic for all their youth! I'm glad you two got it all worked out.

yeah....I was really, genuinely, shocked. I'd love to blame a recent vaccination and teething, but there's no getting away from it - THE TERRIBLE TWOS HAVE ARRIVED!!!! And the physical strength she has...I was in a weird way, kind of proud of that.

Hopefully this evening will be better.

Aww bless my 22 month old godson is a tantrumer as well the funny thing is though he has a few problems and he is so small that he has only just entered the 6-12 month clothing section haha...so its like a 6 month old doing it , he bangs his head tries to scream lol makes me laugh
