 My Dear Mum. . .
It has been 4 yrs today since my mum grew wings to join my sister, Danielle, in Heaven.
I am so thankful that I was able to have my mum for 25 years here on earth. She was my anchor. I know that she is watching me and guiding me and will forever be with me, just not in the physical. My mum touched so many lives and was proof that there really are good, unselfish people out there in the world. She would do anything for anyone and was a friend to so many. . . .
I am thankful that God chose me to be her daughter and that she was able to teach me so many important things about being a mother and a good person.
I am thankful that Danielle has mum by her side now and that they are together and sharing all the glories of being whole and perfect and are warm in God's light. Mum missed Dani so much. She couldn't wait to see her again.
I am thankful that they don't have to know the pain those of us left behind feel and will never have to feel it.
I am thankful that I was able to say good-bye, though it was too sudden and too soon and I wasn't ready.
Above all I am thankful for her love that I feel within me every day.
