He said because I don't have regular periods, it's impossible for me to have endo. Is this true? I didn't have a period ALL last year at all. Then this year so far I've only had 2.

I agree with all of the previous posters, get yourself a new RE or Gynecologist. Do some research and try to find the very best near where you live, and get a full run of testing done so you can be properly diagnosed and treated. Good luck and keep in touch!

I agree with this being a load of rubbish! I had only gotten my period once, maybe twice a year. Granted when I did have it, it was horrifying. I have PCOS and endo. Both are caused by hormonal imbalances. Get a second opinion. Some Drs are crocks!

Yeah...maybe I should. But my period wasn't HORRIBLE per se....I mean, I had cramps and needed Tylenol. They were worse than normal, but not crippling. Is it possible to develop endo in a SHORT time? Because if I DO have it, I don't think my cramps are bad enough or something...

Ah but there are people out there who never know they have endo at all. My friend had a C-section with her last child, and when they went in there they saw it all over the place. She never even noticed. So its hard to judge.
But to say its impossible for you to have it is completely wrong--but I wouldnt jump the gun and get a lap either. Its a tough call. If this is because your TTC, you may want to weigh other, less invasive things first.
