Red face Is my dose still too high?

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 5 years ago. I had always stayed on the same dose until I got pregnant. During my pregnancy they had to increase my dose twice. Well after I had my son the dosage was way too high which actually made me seem like I was hyper. So They lowered my dose barely! I mean before I got pregnant I was only on 50 mcg, by the time I delivered I was on 100 mcg. Then they only lowered it to 80mcg. Is that normal or should my dr. have lowered it more???

Thanks!

My endo had me do a 6 week check, lowered my dose based on those results, then had me come back 6 weeks later. If you haven't had your levels checked recently, I think you should call & get them done so they can adjust the dose if needed. If you are feeling hyper, that's good enough reason, right?

Good luck!
