MY Dr. APPT. yesterday and My results!

I was at the Endo yesterday and the doctor said to take 1500 mg of Met for the next two weeks and then go up to 1700. I have LOTS of the 500mg pills so I will use them up first . He prescribed me a Script for 850 mg MET so Then I will be back to 2 a day instead of the 3 a day I am taking now. Here are the results from 9/28 and I had more taken Yesterday but don't have those results yet. These are PRE metformin.

Ok thats all copied right from my copies they gave me. Maybe someone can tell me a lil about Them because Other then a few that I noticed were High I really Know nothing. TIA!

well for sure you are ir..so good you are going on met/gluc.

have they ever done an lh and fsh ??

also yes your tsh is high.

most drs arent very good with treating thyroid issues unless it is totally out of range...

but more up to date drs will treat a tsh of around 3..specially if your t3 adn t4 are in the low range. if your dr wont treat you , i would suggest find a dr who will.

No, these were NON fasting as I had them done at the blood lab right there in the same building. I have to go in a month and have MORE fasting blood work done. As for him treating my thyroid..HA! He did not want to do ANYTHING and tried a scare tactic by stating that The best is to remove the thyroid to which I replied well thats a lil extreme don't ya think. He sat quiet a minute and then said WEll MOST people say(after he says that best is to take it out) that Oh no its not really a prob. I said WELL I guess I am not most people as I am NOT going to LIE and say no its not a prob. It is a problem since I am Having issues swallowing IE choking on food and I have MAJOR hair loss. However I want some synthroid to see if it works. I am not gonna just dive in and say remove it. I was Not so Happy at him at that moment to say the least. Thats when he prescribed the generic Synthroid at a low .05 mg. I guess we will see if it helps any.
