About 3 months ago I got the news from my DR. that I have PCOS...He has been trying many different ways to to help me..but his latest was the DEPO PROVERA SHOT!! He said it would be fine and I would feel much better. I just said OK to it since he is my DR. and I would just like to go foward. I get home and the site of the injection is killing me ...Then I start to feel as if I'm gonna get sick!! Then my neck starts to freeze up with pain, as well as my lower back... Pain is going down both of my legs..So as I'm sitting there I start looking up about this shot and there are HORROR STORIES from women everywhere as well as the FDA has put a black box warning on this shot. I don't know what to do now..I spoke with my DR. and he said it most likely will peak before it gets better.. Does anyone have any info about this or what I should do ?? It would be greatly appreciated ....NEVER TAKING DEPO AGAIN!!
