is my dr. right?

I was told to start taking clomid on Moday which will be my cycle day 3. I will stop taking it on cycle day 7,Friday. The following Wednesday the 8th I go in for my ultrasound and trigger shot,which will be cycle day 13. Will day 13 be to late? I am so worried that I will go in for this ultrasound and I would have already ovulated. This is my first cycle on clomid and am nervous. Please advise!!!
