Hello, my name is Rachael I am new here.

I have most of the symptoms, and official diagnosis is going to take forever since I am being referred to a fertility clinic/reproductive endocrinologist. I have read up on it, and the clinic looks good, but I was wondering if anyone could give me advice if this is necessary at this point.

Do most DR's wait for an official diagnosis before giving any kind of medication to help? I am eager to start treatment to start getting on the right track!

My doctors waited to give me Metformin after my Dx just to be 100% sure. If you do not have PCOS and have something with similar symptoms a certain medication may not be correct. Hopefully you will get your Dx quick and soon and get yourself back on track. Good luck with everything and keep us posted!!
