Question my fiancee

ok see my fiancee came down last month and she was so selfconsous of her body because she is over weight and harry. she is 23 and has never seen an obgyn in her life i tried to tell her i didn't care because i have this and know how she feels because i'm in the same boat but she keeps telling me that she can't go because she doesn't have insurance but i try and tell her she needs to go because of the health risk and all she tells me is i know. i don't know what to do I love her no matter what and i don't care what she looks like but i have anough health probs i don't want her to be where i'm at. we also want kids and i know the longer we let this go the harder it will be to have kids and i think that will brake both of our hearts. does anyone have any advice? thank you

Is there a charity hospital or health unit near you? It might take awhile but she could be seen for free. Also, could you call a few GYN and she if any would be willing to do a payment plan? I hope she can see a doctor soon.

Michelle,

Maybe she could find some sort of government insurance program. There are many available through your county. You could look in the phone book for a start in the front for some govt. numbers.

If she does not qualify, she could also purchase insurance for a monthly fee from an insurance company. This is very expensive however.

Also, depending on her employment status -- she could try to get another job that will offer health insurance.

Good luck!

well see the thing is she works in the hospital and she would have insurance but she hasn't applied for it like she is suposed to. i don't know why because she gets sick alot since working in there but you know i don't know anything lol she is as heard headed as i am. i just don't know what to do. i love her to death and i don't what her to do through what i have been through. i can't really talk to her about it though esp right now because i am at my uncles house because he is having brain surgery (like his 4th one) and its pretty bad so i'm here taking care of his baby boy. so i don't know what i'm going to do about it right now thank you all for your help.
