Hi cysters,
I didn't know exactly where to put this, and so if one of the other mods thinks it should be moved, please feel free. I chose the newbie board because it's here that I spend most of my time at Soulcysters. 
I've been having problems with migraines for the past few months, I've been in to the clinic countless times for injections, and in the ER twice. My head scans were clear. I'm currently having a status migraine (it's been going on for 4 days now), so my doc is putting me in the hospital tonight. Needless to say, I'm scared. They are going to give me enough meds to hopefully break the migraine. Those of you who know me well know that I'm terrified of doctors and needles, so this is really going to be a challenge for me. So far, I'm not handling it too well.
I just wanted you all to know where I was if I'm not around for a few days. I haven't forgotten about you all (I never could). You will all be in my thoughts and prayers and I ask that you would remember me too.

Thanks for the replies cysters! I'm back from the hospital. They were able to break my headache (finally) using a combination of oral meds, shots, and IVs. I was sent home on verapamil to help prevent future migraines.
I did pretty well (at least I think I did). They were able to get my IV in on the first try, which helps a lot. The meds they gave me made me extremely restless (I couldn't lie still), and queasy, so I'm hoping I won't have to repeat that experience anytime soon.

I'm so happy everything went well for you at the hospital
Migraines are awful, I used to get them, but never bad. I can only imagine what your poor head must have felt like.
