Talking My Hair (everywhere)

I have seen some threads about really dry hair, what about oily hair? Or is it just me?

When I was pregnant with all 3 of my kids, I grew TONS of hair (on my head) and for the 1st 3 months postpartum I lost handfuls of hair. Well, after my 3rd was born (Keeli) my hair fell out like it did before, but it never stopped falling out. I tried contributing it to my medications, but that isn't even a side effect. I'm still losing handfuls of hair, everytime I wash it or brush it I practically have to close my eyes because it's scary. It's thin at the crown and I have some kind of irritation up there so I look straight through my hair and can see all that icky skin. I hate it.

Also, I grow hair on my face, down the insides of my thighs (almost down to the knee) and on my belly, and... on my booty. Does anyone else have a freaky hairy booty?

LOL. This is killin' me.

Tempest~ I went through the same thing when I was pregnant. I was already pretty hairy due to the PCOS... but when I was pregnant....I grew way more hair than normal. Then after I delivered, it all began to fall out. I find hair all over my house. It is thin and oily. I have to wash it everyday. I also grow hair on my face, the inside of my thighs, belly and sadly... on my booty! But the booty hair was way worse during my pregnancy. Most of that is gone now. But, I still feel like a freak. Thank God dh isn't freaked out by it all. I know that he truly loves me to be able to overlook it all.

When pregnant it seemed that my body was almost normal. I had very little facial growth and alot of head growth, but after I had DD my head hair got really thin, and hair everywhere else got really BAD. DD is 18 months and I have had a lot of new facial hair in the last few months. I'm hoping to find some relief with laser, I guess iI need to look into some meds too but I hate taking pills!!
