We have been TTC for 14 months now. I pretty much new after 3 months of charting that something was wrong with my cycles but my doctors wouldn't do anything until we had been TTC for a year. In January I had an ultrasound done and it was polycystic. In February I had PCOS testing done and I failed the glucose test but all the other tests were normal. The doctors aren't classifying me as PCOS yet but I was also taking Fertility Blend formula when I had the blood tests done so it could have messed those up. On the Fertility Blend I would O on cd 15 and actually had 28 day cycles. Off the fertility blend my cycles were much longer. At the end of the month I am meeting with an endocronoligist to discuss the glucose test and we have a referral in to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist. We are on a waiting list and have been waiting 1 month already. They are guess a minimum of 3 months before we will get in so we are disappointed that we will have to wait even longer to get seen.
Welcome to SC! I hope you get the answers you need once you start seeing the RE. Is Tricare allowing you to see a civilian RE? I was going to start seeing a Navy RE last year after my civilian referral was disapproved by Tricare. The wait was over a month for me as well! And as my luck had it, I had some circumstances come up and couldn't make it to the initial appointments. So now I'm waiting to start the referral process again if the next Clomid cycle doesn't work. We've been TTC for 3 years so I hope this is our year. Good luck to you!

Well I'm on prime and when I talked to my GYN a few weeks ago she said that the referral was approved and I am just waiting for an appointment now. We are at Wilford Hall and they supposedly have a good RE team so we are just waiting it out and praying DH doesn't get orders before we get this figured out.
Good luck TTC.

Getting orders before everything is figured out has been my problem. Every time a DR was close to doing something we got orders to PCS. Now, I am starting all over again..hopefully we get some where new this time!
Welcome!!

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.
