Default My kid needs your help for a Aussie Report

My son is doing a report on Australia and would like some help with some of the questions he has to answer.
If you could please answer some of the following ?.
Thank You

1.He wants to know what the climate is? The summers are___
The winters are____.

2 The resources(water,soil,minerals ect.) of the country incluce1_____ 2_____3_____.

3. The industries (what this country produces) are affected by these resources> This country produces 1____ 2____3____.

4 The industry affects people's employment in this country. Some of the JOBS people who live there have are 1___2___3____.

5. The largest cities are 1___2___.

He would also like to know what famous things you have there ie, landforms and sites, so in other words what would people want to come there and see and do.

Make it sound really good so then maybe we could come and visit the land down under! I would love to come there but not until all the kids are gone so we could enjoy ourselves.

Thanks for all the help. I will let you know what he gets on his report. With your help hopefully a big fat A+.
Thanks again
Take Care,
LAF

1.He wants to know what the climate is? The summers are mild-hot depending on where you live. Some of Australia is tropical. (30 degrees- 47degrees)

The winters are mild-cold, some places are hot all year, some places have snow.

2 The resources(water, soil, minerals ect.) of the country incluce gold, nickel, coal.

3. The industries (what this country produces) are affected by these resources> This country produces livestock(sheep), minerals(gold, nickel, copper), natural gas.

4 The industry affects people's employment in this country. Some of the JOBS people who live there have are farmers, geologists, miners.

5. The largest cities are Sydney and Melbourne.

Some of the sights:

Ayres rock: massive big rock formation 'owned' by Aboriginal people

Beautiful Beaches with white sand.

National parks with waterfalls and gorges. (eg Kalbarri)

The Blue Mountains

Whale watching (eg Albany)

Kangaroos, Koalas

Aussie rules football, netball

The Aussie BBQ, meat pies, vegemite.

(now Im getting carried away! LOL)

HTH's

LOL no problem. Totally understand trying to get DH motivated to go somewhere. I've been trying to get mine to go back to Canada for a long time to visit family. If you have any questions I'm sure any of us would be happy to answer them. I've also lived in the US so if you have any questions about differences I can try to answer them.
