Default My Lab Results....what do they mean?

My doctor is wonderful, but knows nothing about PCOS. So, while I'm trying to find a doctor to help with that, I have my most recent lab results. I'd love it if people could just give me their opinions, because I really don't know much.

I know that the values change depending on what cycle day you're on.....but I don't cycle!! So how am I supposed to know what they should be??

FSH: 4.1
LH: 8.5

Progesterone: 0.7

Free Testosterone: 1.8
Total Testosterone: 54

Estrogen, E1: 73
Estrogen, E2: 32

What do you think, and is this consistent with PCOS?

Hey there

I don't know exactly what the "normal" ranges are, so I can't comment on whether yours are normal or not -- but I can tell you that all of my bloodwork and hormone levels in April came back within the normal ranges, and according to my gynecologist, I have a "textbook case" of PCOS regardless. So from what I can tell, and what I've experienced, bloodwork isn't always a clear indicator of the disorder.

Sorry I wasn't able to be more specific about your particular results! I'm sure someone here will be able to speculate a little more, though.

My Free testosterone is 14 so you are doing better than me with that hahah

I am losing weight, on Metformin and eating Low GI so when I get tested again in January I hope this will be much lower.
