Default my last four shots of Byetta was painful...

Hello,
I've been on Byetta for about 3 weeks. I'm scared of needles but because i use a 32 gauge (super thin) needle it didnt hurt so I've become less afraid. But the last two day that I injected myself, it was painful both the needle going in and the medicine going in. Now Im afraid again! I dont understand why I sometimes cannot feel anything at all and other times it hurts so much. I need help finding a numb spot!!! I inject in my stomach.
Im not nauseated and I havent lost any weight so far but im keeping my fingers crossed! thank you for your help!

I'm not n that stuff but am on Lantus (the 24 hr acting insulin), and I use the 33 gauge needles, and like you needs are so NOT my deal what so ever - will do what ever I can to not get stuck by them if i can well help it.

Anyhow, I find that if I give myself an injection in a new area that it hurts more then if I give it in an area that has built up a tolerance to the needle going on. I also only tend to hit my thy with my injections instead of my arm or side. I can't do my side for the life of me that hurts like BLEEP!!!!, my shouldn't isn't to bad since use to getting injections from my doc there for the past 5 years (built up a little tollerance from it).
