My 8 year old sister had a dream that she died and went to Heaven. Went she got there, she met Eric, and he had red hair and blue eyes, like my DH. He told her to tell me that he's okay now. She did see a pic of him, but not a very good one. He was my DH's carbon copy.
I really think that she saw him. My husband is a little skeptical, but he told me that he was sad it wasn't him. He was Eric's daddy, but he didn't get to spend as much time with him as me. He's really upset about the whole thing. He wanted to be a daddy so much. He's awesome with kids. You know?

that is very touching... and there's no one who can prove that she was wrong or didn't truly see eric. i hope she did. and i certainly hope that you and dh can give eric some little siblings someday, when you are ready. a good man like him should get a chance to rear a living child. it sounds like your family is very loving.

I fully believe in visions of angels and heavenly experiences while sleeping. I'm Eastern Orthodox, and our church history is full of stories of people who had such experiences. I see absolutely no reason to believe it wasn't real... and it might have been a gift from your child, to send you some comfort. I think it's beautiful.
And your husband IS a daddy... though I know that's small comfort when the child can't be in your arms. I pray you both find comfort in this tragic time.
Lovepotato, I don't see why she couldn't have met her nephew in Heaven! I used to have the greatest dreams about sitting with Rivi in Heaven, next to a stream, just talking. In the later dreams, there was an invisible wall between us, and I could see him having a great time, but he couldn't see/hear me. I like to believe that I DID get to see my little guy, and that God and Rivi both wanted me to know he was okay. Stranger things have happened!

I told other people about the dream, and they didn't really say anything. I think she saw him. It's nice to know that he's okay.

I believe so......my sister when she lost her baby she named him matthew and she saw in her dream that a baby she was carrrying down the hall at the end of it moss was there he took her baby said we will take care of matthew foor you, he said that the children have the kingdom of heaven, it was such as these.....and to know our angels are watching over us is great......
