Thumbs up My mental razor!!!

Hi cysters!!!

I have read many of the post...about the unwanted facial hair, and I feel the same as many as you. The facial hair frustrates me, makes me sad, makes me feel terrible about myself, and sometimes leaves me severly depressed. I hate shaving my face...it is terrible...it makes me feel so unfeminine and it is a constant reminder of the pcos...I just hate it. But you know what...I am going to start shaving my face with my mind...lol, I know that sounds weird...but I am going to try to train myself to not look at my facial hair as a bad thing.....anyone have any ideas of how we could all do this? Our mental razors may make us the smoothest we have ever been! I love you all!!! *Hugs*

Your cyster,
Katrina

I agree that your self image has a lot to do with how you perceive "the problem" -- any problem. I know when I first started making steps to lose weight and control hair and skin, even the smallest sign of improvement just put me on cloud 9! i wish I could have gotten there myself beforehand because maybe I would have gotten off my duff sooner, so maybe that is the key you are looking for.

To believe in yourself and spend your days doing positive things and not obsessing?

Talking Yes!

Maureen,

Yes!!! Yes!!!! Yes!!! Thank you for the reply! That is great!!! Do positive things with your energy instead of obsessing! That is great! I just like to have ideas and thought about using my mind. Because, I believe that is half the problem and half the battle. I dwell on one issue and stick with that issue everyday...and I just wish I could get past it! I am sure trying! Hugs and luv! Take care...and thank you for the reply!

Your cyster and friend,
Katrina
