Hi Everyone,
I am new here... but I figured this would be a good place to start...
My name is Laura (25) and DH is John (26)
We have been ttc since 01/01/01
We have been diagnosed with PCOS, annovulatory cycles and the dreaded Unexplained Infertility...
We tried a few rounds of clomid in 02 with no response...
Then we tried a round of injectables (which I had responded very well to) and then the night before our scheduled IUI my uncle passed away and we decided that it was better to wait... Well the following cycle I lost my insurance coverage... so we couldnt do a second cycle of injectables with an IUI... But we found out a week later that we were pregnant and we ended up having a miscarriage in April 2004...
Since then we had been on break because of the insurance issues... and in July of this year we found out we were pg!!!
I was classified high risk because of my ovaries and my sugars... but we went for our beta test EVERY two days... and everything was looking great... we went for our first u/s on July 30... It was amazing!!!
Well at 9 weeks I started having SEVERE cramps... I went to the dr. and he basically told me that there was nothing they could do and that it is in god's hands at that point...
later in the week I was still in severe pain so I went back to the dr. and he did an ultrasound... He came back in the room to tell me that the baby's heart had stopped 5-7 days before that...
How could this happen... it is soooo unfair...
I started to miscarry on 8/24 and the dr took a tissue sample...
We got the test results back and the dr. seems to believe that there was nothing wrong other then my progesterone levels... So he seems to believe that if and when we concieve again, he will have me on progesterone from the beginning and hopefully that will avoid this happening again...
But how are we supposed to concieve again without ovulating?!?!? WTF!!!! 
So that my story in a nutshell...
Now I have started back on my Met for a another cycle and we are going to move on to the Met / Clomid combo cycle as soon as I can get back into the dr.

I want to say welcome, but I wish you didn't have reason to join us. I am new here also and I just wanted to say I understand your concern about not O'ing. I don't O either, nor do I even have periods without using NPC...still don't know how we got pregnant in the first place...what finally went right.
Anyway, there is such a good support system here, you will find that all of the cysters are here to listen and be of encouragement to each other. Thank you for sharing your story.

Laura...i'm so sorry for your loss.
I just wanted to let you know that even us girls who dont O still get 2nd chances sometimes...when the time is right. But for now, take care of yourself and your hubby and my thoughts are with you and your little angel baby who is watcing over you i'm sure...
