My mom!

Hey Soul Cysters! This is totally off topic, and wasn't sure where to put it, so I thought that I would just post here.
My mom called this afternoon, she lives in Atlanta. She went to a grocery store just up the street from where she lives and works, it was the middle of the day. A man came up to her as she was getting in her car and pointed a gun at her and told her to give him her keys. She told him no(now didn't they teach us just to give the robber what they wanted). He could have blown her away, but by the absolute GRACE OF GOD!!!!, something spooked him and he ran off. I can't tell you all how much that I know that God was with her. I guess it is just a reminder that we should always be cautious when out alone. Be careful ladies, we don't know who is out there and what they might do. God Bless you all. Praise God that tonight she is safe in her home, unharmed!

OMG!!! How horrible, and awfully scarey for your mom!!!
I would have said here, take my keys. THANK GOD she was not hurt, and something spooked him!!!

Its great that your mom is OKAY! I know if I was put in her situation I probably would have laughed and been like are you serious...

Your mom is really lucky! Did she get a description of the guy? Did she call the police and notify the store. I know she would feel absolutely horrible if she found out that he hurt somebody else.
