Default My mom keeps calling

I like knowing that she cares, but I'm not ready to talk yet. I sent out an email saying this.

Should I just talk to her? I really feel like I'd like to talk to as few people as possible until it is all over with.

No you shouldnt talk to her yet if youre not ready. Dont feel like you have to just to be polite.

Our moms hate to see us hurting. I am very sorry for your loss, and I understand needing some quiet time to do your own grieving. Maybe your mom is deeply hurt as well... I wonder if there are grandparent support boards online somewhere. My suggestion would be to direct her energy elsewhere and screen your calls until you feel up to talking. (((hugs)))

My mom died 12 years ago next month (I can't believe it, it seems like last year!), but I think if she were calling and I didn't have a lot to say, I wouldn't talk yet. Only you know when you are ready.
