Default My mood swings are getting worse

What could be making my mood swings do this iam only on Metformin and Synthroid one minute im in a good mood the next iam ill as a hornet and its taking a toll on poor hubby,anyone going through this or have gone through it? if so is there any cure?

Sorry for what you're going through.

My mood swings are caused by my depression, which is much much worse around the time of my period. Prozac helps a lot.

i've been going through the same thing unfortunatly my mood swings god so out of control that i flipped on my employees to the point where one was scared and pulled a knife on me lets just say the cops were called and they decided the best way to handle it was to let me calm down

can definitely relate to the mood swings...it took me a bit to realize it was ME and not my boyfriend...ex-boyfriend...boyfriend...ex-boyfriend... you get the idea! i also find that i get really irritable... and end up isolating myself from everyone when that happens b/c i am afraid of what i might say... it's less stressful to just be with myself at those times.
my doctor just put me on 5-htp to try and help regulate my moods... will keep you posted on whether it helps or not.

bi-polar was a term i was pegging myself with for explanatory assistance too! people don't seem to get "i feel like a different person from one day to the next."

at least when it comes we know it'll swing back the other way!

sorry to hear you are feeling lyk this you might want to see a doc to see if you do have bi polar / depression i used to be exactly like you when i was depressed and althogh i still have my days now its a lot better *hugs*

THanks Gals i apprecaite all the input i need to get checked out i guess i just hate to go on mind altering drugs if you know what i mean i hate to be zombiealized...im just more worried that my DH will eventually be tired of me being moody and leave me and i don't want that to happen...
