AngelaGrace.... I am looking for a hairpiece that will basically cover starting at the top of my head right behind my bangs and then my bangs all the way across to the temples. Will this piece u are talking about work? My hair is so full and frizzy everywhere else so this thin top area looks so weird and horribly ugly. It is like it is not part of the rest of my hair. It is sparse and looks bad. I can't style it or blend it in with the other hair. I just want to feel normal and not feel like people are staring at my head
Cincyster,,, in the after pics, are you using the piece AngelaGrace told u about?. It looks like you have it pulled back or something. But it looks really good and natural. I love it. I want to order one but not sure what color. Not only do i have really thin hair on top, It is also mostly gray in my bangs. I colored my hair to cover the gray (medium brown) but then it made it easier to see my scalp.
I was hoping if I could find a piece for the top, then i could color the rest of my hair to match it. Is it something u can wear everyday???
Yes, I am wearing it pulled back from my face. It is the way I am used to wearing it. When my DD gets home I will have her take a picture with it down. Maybe a close up too to show where it fills in. I can also take pictures of the piece its self, with a tape measure in the pic so you can see it. The piece I ordered and am wearing is called the Front Filler classic. (I will have my Mom order me the bangs very soon.) If you follow the link to HSN that AngelaGrace posted, you will see that it comes in a LOT of colors. Hopefully, the pics will answer a lot of the questions.
Yes, I do wear it every day. It is easy to put in/on. The directions say to fasten all 4 clips then pull your own hair through the wefts. But I found that I was trying to pull hair that was in the clips. So now I fasten the front and back clips, pull my hair through, then I clip the side pieces down.

The first pic, all I did was pull the barrettes out. So it is kind of a mess. In the second pic I actually took it out and turned it so I would get a side part. The third pic is a view of the top of my head with the piece in sideways.
Keep in mind too that I have not had a hair cut in 2 years. My length is a bit too long to wear the piece with my hair down (in my opinion). I intend to go to the salon and get a hair cut so it will all blend together better. I have not decided whether to have the bangs on the piece trimmed. I will see what the stylist has to say.

Reason: Finish my thought.
These puictures do not do the front filler justice. I took the pics against a white background to give you a clearer view. These show the length and width of the hair.

These show the wefting/netting. In the third picture, the curved spot at the bottom of the pic is the place that goes in the front of your head at the hair line.
When I put it in side ways for the part, I put it so the point of the 6" side was near the center of my front hair line.
I hope these help.

Reason: Added another picture.
I need to take some pics of my hair to show you. Not sure if I need the front filler or just the bangs. I dont have a camera now. I like yours though. It looks really good. How long would u say it takes to put in and style it the right way??
I guess I am just mad that we have to worry about it. I always had thick dark wavy hair. Never thought I would be losing hair in my 30's to the point where I have bald spots! Makes me want to cry! Not to mention the body hair growth, acne, oily skin...ugh!! PCOS just robs u of your self esteem. But hair loss is my worst symptom It is not horrible yet but it gets worse daily.
Honestly, I do not know how long it takes to put it in/on. I clip it in and sit down to watch the news and drink my coffee. While I am watching, I just kind of randomly pull my hair through the wefts with the end of a rat tail comb. I'll time it tomarrow morning. Styling, basically my favorite style is just pulling the sides up. I've worn it that way for years. Hopefully, when I get a haircut, the stylist will show me some new tricks!

Cincyster- that looks amazing! The color matches perfectly and you can't even see seams or anything! I'm impressed! Thank you so much for posting the pics. I'm so excited to show my best friend, a fellow cyster who has been having a real problem with her hair thinning at the top. The price for this item is so reasonable I wouldn't expect it to look so real, but wow I would never ever be able to tell. I especially like the way it looks pulled back. Thanks again! You look great!

Mini Goal- 140- REACHED 7/28/08!!! New Mini Goal- 130! - REACHED 10/10/08!!! 27 years old- no meds- trying to get healthy through diet and exercise
I timed it out this morning. It took 6 minutes for me to clip it in, pull my hair through then pull it up in my barrettes. Yes, I was watching TV and drinking my coffee at the same time. My hair was already washed and dried.
Be sure that your hair is dried, curled, etc before you clip in the piece. It is synthetic hair and can not have heat applied. Since AngelaGrace's first post, I have looked around online and have seen similar pieces in real hair, but the cost was around $120 and up! I think I will stick to the low cost synthetic hair.

I just wanted to say thank you so much. I've been feeling quite down about my hair recently and hadn't found anything that would make it better. I will look into this product to see if it would be good for me. Thanks again.
