 My PCOS story
Hi everyone. I'm relatively new to the board, and would like to introduce myself. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2007, due to LH/FSH ratio, mildly elevated androgens, and high C peptide (which indicates insulin resistance). I was not getting monthly periods, and actually wondered if I might be pregnant, but that was not the case. Since I've been married for 9 years without kids, the infertility that comes with PCOS is currently one of my biggest concerns. I have started metformin, as well as several rounds of Clomid that resulted in Ovulation but no pregnancy, and now am on my second round of Femara. Glad to have found a great board with some excellent information and more importantly, some ladies who understand my issues. Laurie |
