Hey to all my cysters! I am so happy that my DH found this site. It is the best. I am a 28 year old AA cyster. I think my journey began a long time ago. I never had any regular cycles...every since the very 1st one back in 7th grade. Whenever I did have a period, it was very painful. I began BCPs around my junior year of high school when I had my 1st PS. The dr said that it would do well to help regulate my cycles. Then, I began gaining wt very fast. I actually went from a C-cup breast size to a DD in like a summer. I was very moody on the BCPs. I have been on quite a few BCPs...i think about 4 or 5 different kinds. I started having extreme left side pelvic pain around 2002. I went from dr to dr getting all kinds of test ran with everyone telling me all was "normal". I finally got diagnosed around 2002. I have been off BCPs since about 2004. That's when I stopped having a period at all. I only have one after taking Provera...which makes me extremely light-headed & dizzy. My DH & I have been TTC for about 3 years. I am currently taking Metformin 500mg, Clomid 50mg, & prenatal vitamins. I was previously on Metformin in 2005-2006. I have been taking my BBT in the mornings, but I don't know if ive O'd. I still have constant left-side pelvic pain when I go for long periods without having a cycle. My endocrinologist ordered me to take Provera every 3 months to have a cycle...& it is definitely not pretty. I am always fairly heavy, crampy, & moody. I think I'm beginning to run on, so I will end it here. Just want to say thank you for all the helpful information & the support bc i feel like ive never been able to talk to people who actually know what I have been going thru.
