KEEPS going down they just called me and asked me if I was using the progestrone 3 times a day and I told them YES and she said it went from 17 to 12 so I am suppose to go tomorrow and get another beta she said this could be that it might not be a viable pregnancy??? I am so confused now!!!

You may have to do shots & not supps. Shots are stronger than supps. And I really don't like your nurses in your Dr. office! Is that the same one you had problems with last time?!?! There have been women w/ low prog. that have carried normal pg'cies. I would definately call back & ask for a scrip for a stronger prog. supplement (possibly shots) NOW!

The progesterone shots are NOT bad. I have to take them after every IUI until my first beta. And when I get a BFP, I'll have to take them every day of the first trimester. I tried the suppositories first and they didn't have any effect on my progesterone levels so maybe ask your doctor about the shots.
(Also? Congratulations!! I know you're worried right now but hopefully things are all going to be fine and here's to a fabulous 40 weeks!!)

by the way, from my understanding with a progesterone of 12 you're in no immediate danger right now. The lowest recorded progesterone in a viable pregnancy was 5 (if I recall correctly). So as long as you can get progesterone in you, you're fine! They need to up your dose of give you a higher dosage in shots!

Also I forgot to add, progesterone fluctuates throughout the day. So say, you did a supp & you went to get b/w right after that I don't think it would be in your system yet. Just like when you take meds, it takes a little bit.
Call them about shots, don't wait for them to call you!
