I completely agree with Geek.
If you need to be on injects w/ Prog. Oil, to make sure its getting absorbed, that may be another consideration to bring up.

I was on PIO shots (gave them to myself) every day for 16 weeks. They're not bad, and I got used to them. I've heard the PIO shots are very effective (progesterone is protocol in an IVF cycle- I don't know if I had a progesterone problem or not).
It's time for a talk with the RE. I hope he/she takes time to listen to you and sets up a course of action you are happy with.

KEEPS going down they just called me and asked me if I was using the progestrone 3 times a day and I told them YES and she said it went from 17 to 12 so I am suppose to go tomorrow and get another beta she said this could be that it might not be a viable pregnancy??? I am so confused now!!!

I am so sorry Chula. I had a miscarriage same time (around 5 weeks) and I know its heartbreaking - but hang in there. You are in all our prayers.... It will be alright.

Thank you ladies I had my first OB appontment with the doctor I chose for the prenatal care and he confirmed it with yes when I stop the progestrone I will M/C the baby that was there but for a short lived time he was trying to hang on but just couldn't. I need to take a break for sure maybe chart only to not get pregnant this month and next he said it would be that my uterus was not healed and I got pregannt too quick after last months M/C sounds logic though...thansk again!

Chula - I am praying you get your miracle soon! M/c is so hard to go through. I'm sorry and no deserves to go through that. But, on the progesterone note. Don't start it earlier than 2 days after you have that spike or drop (I can't remember the lingo). It could stop your ovulation. What mg are you on? I would ask maybe if you could up it. I'm so so sorry. I was so happy for you and this is just so unfair! All I can think is that maybe this is the way you find out what's wrong (low progesterone) so that next time is THE time. I'm praying for you hun.

So sorry to hear your news. I share your frustration about the progesterone. My RE has told me numerous times after asking numerous times about progesterone supplements that there isn't enough evidence that it prevents m/c, etc... It's frustrating when I read other posters who are on it and seem to have successful pregnancies. Just wanted to wish you the best of luck. Get some rest and when you feel up to it take time to pamper yourself.
