I'm new to posting on this forum (have been reading for awhile tho!). I wanted to share what's been working for me in the last few months. Even right before my period last month I didn't break out, which is a first for me! My skin is pretty much clear right now, except for a couple of small pimples and a bunch of acne scars from older breakouts.
Cleanser - Alba Organics Sea Kelp facial cleanser
Toner - Alba Organics Sea Kelp facial toner
Topical acne stuff - Aveda Outer Peace Acne Spot Relief (This has salicylic acid. I actually got more benefit when I started putting a heaping pea-size on each cheek -- I tend to break out on my cheeks and jawline)
Moisturizer - Neaclear Liquid Oxygen Anti-Acne Facial Moisturizer (there's a couple of liquid oxygen moisturizers, the anti-acne one has salicylic acid, the other doesn't).
I put them on in that order, morning and night. They're all less than $10 each, except for the Aveda Spot Relief, but that lasts for a couple of months. Salicylic acid seems to work for me nowadays. I tried MD skincare wash and spot treatment and stuff (has benzyl peroxide) and it completely destroyed my face, unless it's some ingredient in there I'm sensitive to.
For my makeup:
Foundation - Demablend Smooth Indulgence (the Cover Creme turned my face into a warzone, I stopped using that)
Concealer - Dermablend Smooth Indulgence (I don't a lot of this, just where I feel I really need it. Seems to be a bit heavy for my face and I got a couple of pimples in one spot when I started using it every day... there's a lighter spot concealer, but I'm waiting for this stuff to run out before I try that)
Powder - Demablend transleucent powder
Blush - Urban Decay
I also use Urban Decay for my eye makeup, and I use the eye pencils on my lip. For lip gloss/stick I use Lip Fusion, love that stuff, makes my tiny lips huge!

Tempted to try their concealer and foundation/powder, but since my skin is doing so well right now, I'm afraid to switch.
The Dermablend makeup remover makes my face break out pretty bad, so I don't use that. For some reason makeup just totally wears off my face by the time I shower, so I use that facial cleanser to take it off and it works just fine. But I guess it depends on your skin and how well makeup stays on you. Everything I've ever tried tends to rub off me in about 3 hours, lol.
I hope something here helps someone.
