 My son Leo & I won our battle with PCOS in FL!
Hi everyone. I have been on this board for awhile but haven't started posting until now. I just wanted to share my success story with you, and to find other cysters to get to know.
My darling son, Leo Patrick, was born in July 2008. It was a giant roller coaster ride until then, however. DH and I have been together for 11 years. We were not trying / not preventing for 7 years, and then heavily trying for 3 straight grueling years. A few chemical pregnancies later, 5 clomid cycles, weight loss with metformin, talks of IVF, and 1 VERY interesting and scary pregnancy, I finally have the family I've always dreamt of.
I just want to reach out to others because I know firsthand the craziness that it is to be a cyster. I look forward to learning all I can from you and sharing more of my story. We *WILL* win this battle together.
