Unhappy My story... Need your advice.

When I was dx'd last year with PCOS, I was told I had more severe problems with IR/hyperinsulemia than the typical PCOS patient. Which my endo thought was a little strange, given that I'm a "thin cyster", but whatev.

After a year of cutting out refined sugar and bleached flour, and taking 2000 mg/met a day, what is my reward? That the PCOS symptoms are all but gone, but the IR/hyperinsulemia have gotten worse, to the point of pre-diabetes.

I'm sure you're all lovely people, but I'd rather not join the ranks of the diabetic. Owing to my work schedule and commute, I can only exercise on the weekends. So I have to control it more through food. What are your tips? I mean besides, get the whole-wheat, no-sugar version of everything. I know the evil food industry people are hiding corn syrup and such in our food, but I just don't know where...

And people question why I can't just "be happy with your career and be grateful for what you DO have."

PCOS, IR, and Hyperinsulemia, also investigating adrenal, pituitary, and thyroid.

H also has some MF that's having us pursue IUI.

Clomid was a big fat failure. Researching both IUI and adoption from another agency & country.

Hey! I got your pm about our adoption, but I can't send anything back to you because I only have 10 posts. Where do you want me to reply to you? Please let me know.
