I didnt know what to do when my baby was taken away from me ...and still dont realy ..but i have just wrote this poem for him so he knows how much i love him
(I am sorry if this upsets anyone)

My sweet little baby was taken away
On what was already a terrible day
You were my angel and always will be
The difference is now you I can't see
That is of course till I close my eys
I see you then but your mommy just crys
Everything I do throughout the day
Reminds me of you in every way

Today I woke up and expected to see
Your cute little face looking at me
My sweet little Merlin who did this to you?
I'm sat here right now...what am I to do?
You had so many gifts that made us feel proud
Where ever we took you.. you stood out in the crowd

The way you spoke to us..the wagg of your tail
You made us laugh till our sides hurt without fail
Mommy isnt the only one to miss you my darling
So does your daddy and honey....she keeps pinning

For now I will say goodbye to you Merlin
But I know I will see you again that much's for certain!

Goodbye darling mummy will always love and remember you.


Im memory of Merlin my Rough Collie who was only just 10 months old and killed suddenly on the road January 28th 2003.

Your poem brought tears to my eyes. Merlin was such a beautiful furbaby! I loved seeing the photos that you posted of him. Our pets are so special, giving us unconditional love and so much joy.

I hope you don't mind me posting a poem that I have posted before, when a cyster asked whether pets go to Heaven. The great Christian author C.S. Lewis believed that they did. Whether you believe this or not, it is still a lovely poem:

Love Ascending

What a beautiful Poem JoJo, Merlin is absolutley gorgoues. Im so sorry about his passing. Our furry babies are so special.

It's obvious how much you loved Merlin, I'm so sorry for your pain. I wish I knew what to say to make you feel better, but I know that nothing will heal your hurt. *hugs*
