Today it has been 7 yrs since my sweet older sister was taken from us by a drunk driver. She was only 24 yrs old. I am thankful that I was able to grow up alongside such a wonderful, giving and intelligent woman. I am thankful that she did not suffer. I am thankful that she was living in a place that made her so very happy and that she was living out her dreams. I am thankful that she did not have to witness our dear mum's passing and the inconsolable pain that followed. I am so very thankful that she is with my Mum in Heaven and that they can be together, whole and complete and without pain, to watch over my Ds and I every single day.
I think about you every day, Dani . . . and have never stopped missing your smiles and infectious laugh and most of all your unconditional love and friendship.
