Default my update (same as Pregnant cysters board)

    hi ladies

just wanted to update some of you, as i know some of you were aware of my nightmare this last week!

well after having brown discharge and going for a u/s last week..it seemed that there was a problem...as fetol pole measured 5+3 weeks....and i calculated it as 8 weeks, it seemed that it was almost definate i was headed for a missed miscarriage...and had to go back to hospital yesterday for another u/s..to see if fetol pole had grown...if it hadnt it meant for sure i'd had a missed miscarriage....anyhow shock...everything is fine, last week fetol pole was 1.3mm, this week its 7.1mm...i am in total shock, i had convinced myself that it was over before it had started really...both dh and i were all emotional, as we had set ourselves up for the worst.....we are overjoyed...saw the heartbeat too, the only set back is i am offically 6w4d, over 2 weeks behind. but what the heck..its turned out great so far!

thanks for your support over this last week!!

Oh honey that is so wonderfull! I cried when I read your post!
So how pregnant are you then? Are you still going through with the adoption process? We gave up because a social worker came around and said we were too young (irony of all irony's!) and told us to try again in a few years time. But I am on Met now so hopefully something might happen!

Enough about me! Congrats honey and keep us posted

    that's BRILLIANT!

When I thought I was 17 weeks pregnant, I was admitted to hospital as I was dehydrated (SICK< SICK<SICK), they sent me for a scan and it turned out I was only 14 weeks! I TOLD them I had very long cycles, but they wouldn't listen!!

    Splendid news!
I'm still getting my head around the fact that my edd has been put back 11 days (and I've had my new date for four weeks now) but its all worth it isn't it?
    Best wishes

Gina, yes I conceived on my second cycle after starting met. Took four hpt's but still couldn't properly believe it was true until I had a scan at 13 weeks and saw the little thing. I feel so fortunate.
I'm glad that met has worked for you also and that things are now looking good. Will look forward to reading your updates!
