Has finally gone - WOOOOOO!!!
I wrote somewhere else, I think it was RANT! about my troubles last week. I waited a year for an appointment at my local hospital to have a wisdom tooth out with a local anasthetic. Basically, my mouth wouldn't go numb. They started to pull it out but it was too painfull even after they'd administered the highest amount to anesthetic that they could

they booked me in for a proper general op to get rid of the bugger!
They got me the appointment quickly (for today!)
I was nervous as I'd not had a general operation before!
Luckily, I only went in for day surgery and was in at 7am, on the op table at 11am and out home by 1pm.
I shared a brand new private ward with one other lady who was in the for same problem and it was her 1st operation too so that was quite nice to chat with her. I woke up in recovery next to her as well so we together the whole day.
The theatre staff were laughing at me as they said I went to sleep smiling and woke up smiling so they were wondering what I was dreaming about, LOLI wish I could remember!
I feel fine now and I had some lovely get well flowers and balloons waiting for me when I got home from my boyfriend
The only thing that hurts is my throat from the tubes, I have some impressive stitchwork in my mouth though, I'm surprised it doesn't hurt
I'm just happy it has gone - at last! x
