Has anyone ever heard of Myotonic Dystrophy? Do any of you have it?

I googled it and found out that it's a form of muscular dystrophy, which I have heard of. I don't know anyone very personally who has it, but a girl who has been in a few of my classes has it. She's in a motorized wheelchair and can't sit up straight at all. I don't know much more than that.

Do you have it?

I haven't had DNA testing yet. I am waiting for my father to get his results, first. If I do have it, it would explain a lot. It is known to cause PCOS. I also have other symptoms.
