I'm in the study and have an appointment tomorrow for u/s and fasting blood draw. I'm on day 7 of the patch and that thing hurts! Hopefully tomorrow's ultrasound will show some good news.

I'm on day 5 of the patch and I don't find that it hurts at all. But when it goes off I find that it itches like crazy. And I get twinges on my muscles underneith. I am finding that my bb's are hurting and this NEVER happens to me except right before AF. So either the gnrh or the clomid is real for me, I definetly don't think I received both placebos. This past tuesday I had an u/s that showed a bunch of little follies so I'm hoping this tues comming up shows a BIG improvement.

I did get a $50 check from them, though. I just wanted to wish those of you who did get in luck and crossing my fingers for your BFPs!
Have you tried Metformin to lower your testosterone. Origionally mine was high (higher than the average male) and the metformin lowered it within a few months.

Day 14 and I could have written the above post about the sore BB's and such. I'm not sure if my patch is a placebo or not, but I'm pretty certain about the Clomid (my poor husband). Visit 4 was pretty good for me. My nurses aren't telling me much but on Visit 4 my PA got really excited and reinforced to have sex that afternoon as soon as we got home from work. I was told there wouldn't be anything to see at that visit b/c the drugs wouldn't have even started working yet, but I guess they changed their mind when they looked at my ultrasound. It's also strange b/c it was only Cycle Day 9??? The greatest part about it is that even if this doesn't work for me this month atleast I'm confident that Clomid or something will work for me eventually. I just don't understand why the study is going soooo long since my last visit is Dec. 10 and I should be in the middle of my next cycle by then.....unless I'm pregnant of course!!! How's everyone else doing with the patch? Any good news or anything?!?! I'm thinking about y'all!

I'm on CD 11 and Day 8 of the patch. Had my u/s and bloodwork today and they told me everything that was going on. I found out that I have 4 follies that are about 10mm right now (2 in left, 2 in right) and I have about 8 of them that range in sizes from 7mm to 9mm. She also told me that as long as they reach 14mm they are able to be fertilized but its ideal for them to be above 17. So We'll see what happens in a few days when I go back. I'm just glad that I'm having a monitored cycle.
I think the study is so long because they want to see how your levels change after your off it for a certain amount of time.

I'm on cd14 and I don't have any O pains or tender parts....expect for the patch when it goes off. At my last ultrasound I had 12 follicles on my right ovary but none greater than 14mm and on my left there were 9 follicles but none greater than 10mm. I usually ovulate later in my cycle so hopefully at Friday's ultrasound things will look better. If this doesn't work, I think I will go back on the Metformin and in January try injections.

Presidents that sounds great sizes. I wish you all the luck and hope you get that BFP and won't need the injections.

Well, AF started on cycle day 20 and day 19 of the patch. Done with the patch, all tests say I'm not pregnant. I have 3 appointments left. I'm on cd 10 of my current cycle and I think I might be having O pains and my cervical mucus is what it should be. Although I have had the cervical mucus be correct and not ovulate but, I can't remember if I have ever felt O pains before. At least at my next 3 appointments they will do a blood pg test and a urine so if I was, I don't have to pay for those tests.
How is everyone else doing, anyone have success?

I'm done with the patches and have 2 more appointments. On CD 25 they found a 30mm follie on the ultrasound and were convinced that I was going to ovulate it. But then on CD28 I started spotting and AF showed the next morning. I would definelty say it did not work for me.

Me either!! I started on CD 20 also...weird! Now they are telling me how I responded and it's got me even more confused:
CD 9 they showed I had ovulated and were really excited.
CD 18 I had a 20mm follicle.
CD 20 AF
CD 6 - no drugs this cycle - I had a 12mm follicle and my lining was still 5.5mm which they said should have been in the 2mm range if I had a full blown AF (which it certainly seemed heavy)

I'm assuming I won't get pregnant this cycle and we're trying to decide if I should try just Clomid next month (since it looks like I responded) or if I should do IUI? I know Clomid quits working as well at a certain point and we're anxious to be done worrying about this whole pregnancy thing.
