Hello Cysters,
I have a question. Has anyone had a reaction to Metformin? My Primary Care Physicain (PCP) took me off my provera, clomid and Metformin because I was ill for 2+ months. I couldn't keep any food down, and lost nearly 35 pounds... I went to a Gastro Intestine Specialist and had numerous tests done, then my PCP thought it might be a tumor so I had MRI's and CT Scans- all came back negative, so he assumes it's the infertility medications. Has anyone had this problem, or is it really my own mystery illness???

I'm not sure, except that metformin *can* harm the liver, and you have to have regular tests done. Good luck.
