Have any of you UK/irish cysters tried NAC (N-acetyl-cysteine) to help with hair loss - its mentioned in thealternative remedies forum - i'm so confused - there are so many things - arrrgh - dont know what to try - ive just bought vitex and saw palmetto and i'm drinking lots of green tea! but just saw the post on NAC and wondered if it was worth trying that as well so thought i'd ask u girls!
any experiences or knowledge u have about NAC / preventing hair loss would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Claire,
i have never heard of this suppliment but i have heard that saw palmetto and vitex are very usefull with reducing testosterone levels, however i ahve not tried them yet. can you tell me here you can get this suppliment?

Hi Sabreena, thanks for ur reply. i just went to my local health shop, but i'm sure u could buy them online. as i said in my first post - i only started taking the vitex and saw palmetto a few days ago so have not noticed any differences yet - but i will let u know if i do see any differences- i'm keeping my fingers crossed! there is more on hair loss and supplements in the hair loss forum and alternative remedies forum which might be of help cos i dont really know that much about them yet!
