Default Nads...

I was wondering if anyone had tried Nads hair removal gel. I've heard good things but not from anyone who has actually used it, as it is quite expensive and was wondering what expereinces people have had before I go and buy it.

I bought that several years ago. It doesn't work.

I tried it on my leg and it is so sticky that when I pulled off the strip blood rushed to the surface and my leg was bruised for weeks. I still don't have hair in that spot though. For my face, I use Vaniqa. Getting ready to dish out $500 for laser hair removal because even using Vaniqa (which helps) I still have to shave. Best of luck.

Okay, I was seriously thinking about buying it but after reading those stories I'm not sure!! I think I might just stick to shaving and hair removal cream!! Thanks for the info!!

I tried it years ago when it first came out, and I returned it. It made my leg actually bleed in spots AND the hair was still there! It's like it ripped of spots of skin and left the hair. I don't know if they have improved since then. I wrote them a not so nice letter and asked for a refund.

I'm not sure if this is the same Nads that was invented here in Australia (green gel stuff?) but I used it for ages and REALLY liked it. I only stopped because I'm lazy and went back to shaving my legs! Mind you, I only used it on my legs and tops of feet, not anywhere really sensitive, and I found it very good.

I found it gave me less irritation than a lot of waxes and creams, and the cloth strips were very easy to wash out.

But you could be using a different product if you are in the US.

Hope this helps
Kath

It sounds like I may be the exception, but I have to say that I really love Nads! I've been using it for 2+ years on my face and it works better than any other wax I've tried.

Have a nice weekend!

I'd like to try this again.....I like the fact that its not hot IYKWIM?? If it is the same Nads as here in Australia..its actually a really nice story of the inventors daugher, Nadia, having really hairy arms and being teased at school so her mum invented 'Nads' for her out of all natural products. They now have loads of products on the market, including head lice stuff and other hair removal products....

Off topic - I ate some once, seeing as its all natural and all PMSL! It tasted like sticky toffee...

I used this too Sleepydumpling - its the Nads wax your talking about. I use it on my face and sideburns and its helped considerably! It takes at least 2 weeks min. for hair to grow back, its the least painful Ive tried with waxes too!
Id recommend it to anyone...

Althjough Ive never heard of Nads hair removal gel

Nads over here in Australia isn't actually a wax, but a gel that you use like a wax, in that you don't have to heat it or anything. Just scoop it out of the pot and whack it on your skin.

Is it the same in the States?
