Cool Nair?

Hi Everyone,
I've read nothing but horror stories on here about nair and I was just wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with it?
It's cheap and easy, and I figured I'd give it a try if it actually works and won't burn my skin being that it's so sensitive.
Also, I seen some of you recommended an Epilator but I'm a bit .. nervous about those

I only use Nair on my legs. It works great for me. I've had nair burn only once, and I think I left it on too long.

It smells, but it works. I like the epilator WAY better. Plus the results last longer with the epilator.

I use Nair Sensitive Formula on my upper lip/beard area. I have never had any problems with it and only need to use it about every week and a half. I use to use Nair Facial Formula but they only sell it in tiny bottles. I tried waxing three times and totally broke out everywhere and the thought of shaving that area scares me, so Nair seemed like the best way to go.

As I said in another thread it always gives me a burn and I made sure to follow the instructions, so I guess my skin is just too sensitive for it.

Nair burned my legs up like Eva - it was fine for a while but then I developed an allergy.

Definitely try it on your legs or somewhere else relatively neutral before anything so sensitive as your face.

I use the facial formula on my upper lip, and the skin is a teeny bit red and irritated right afterward, but this goes away within a half hour or so for me. I just try to do it when I'm going to be sitting at home for a while. But I have done it right before leaving the house, and concealer covered the redness just fine.

I can use it on my legs, but not on my face. It burns the skin on my face if left on too long. If it doesn't burn, then it just leaves it dry and flaky.

I have tried it numerous times for my facial hair. It doesn't help to remove it as my hair was too thick for it. If I left it on for too long, it would give me rash and break my skin once in a while. I know some ladies have had great results using it so do a test patch on the area you plan to nair and go from there.

I haven't had much luck with Nair, BUT the sensitive formula works great on my chest.

I use it only on my butt. It is a little harsh, but the is the best option for an area I can't reach well.

Face/bikini I can see to wax, and it lasts longer. Legs I don't mind shaving often, and the hair isn't dense enough for Nair.
